Hispanic speaker and entrepreneur, Edgar Mejia, has been recognized for his work in new media such as LATISM. He is a frequent speaker on this topic in business forums across the country including Greenlining's Annual Economic Summit, NLBWA, Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, and Latinos2.
A perpetual networker, Edgar Mejia dreamed of becoming an animator for Disney as a child. A backpack trip to Machu Picchu, way too many marathons, and an MBA led him to develop Conexion, a Los Angeles-based marketing firm specializing in connecting people (period). Serving as Chief Creative Officer of Conexion, Mejia combines social media with networking events and community building with social causes.
Mejia holds a Bachelors degree in Communications, and a Presidential Key Executive MBA from the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University. He is a socially proactive entrepreneur who is passionate about connecting people, intellectual capital, social good, and sparking moments of brilliance.
Early in his career, Edgar Mejia spent 12 years working at the LA Area Chamber of Commerce. He subsequently made his mark in the Hispanic business world by becoming Executive Director of the Latin Business Association (LBA).
