Isaias Zamarripa is a well known and highly respected professional business and motivational speaker with a lively style, a down to earth approach, boundless energy and a quick wit. A veteran of the consortium of the Graduate Study of Management and lead and co-lead of the Teaching Seminar on Interviewing Techniques for the last 13 years, Isaias is the longest consistent speaker in the history of the Consortium. He has been invited to speak at the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s, The National Hispanic Corporate Council, The Network and Affinity Leadership Congress, The National Council of La Raza, International Quality and Productivity Center, and the Multicultural Forum.
On the corporate front, Isaias is highly sought after as a keynote speaker and seminar presenter for his expertise in executive recruitment, the development of employee resource groups, and employee networks.

In the last decade, Isaias Zamarripa was the Director of Talent Acquisition & Diversity at General Mills where he developed and implemented strategy across the company for experienced staffing, pipeline development, employee network development, onboarding, and retention strategies for employees. He played an integral role in diversity initiatives toward the increase, retention, and pipeline generation of future leaders. In particular, Zamarripa is best known for his contributions on the development of the recruitment branding process, work with employee resource groups, and best in class recruiting practices including the Hispanic Revisit Weekend and Bring a Friend Night.
Prior to General Mills, Isaias served as Recruiting Manager in the Energy and High Tech industries, working for BP Amoco, Compaq Computers and EXXON. In these roles, he developed progressive recruiting strategies and led dramatic increases in diversity in the workforce. As an executive search expert, he has placed diverse candidates in Marketing, Human Resources, IT, Engineering and Sales at corporations including Exxon, Coca Cola, Frito Lay, Dow and Compaq.
Isaias graduated from the Columbia University School of Business with an MBA in Human Resource Management. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University.
Isaias Zamarripa is active in the community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Ordway Theater. For the last 10 years, he was a member of the Board of Directors for the Chicago Latino Film Festival, the largest Hispanic Film Festival in the United States. He was the chair-elect for the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s (NSHMBA) Corporate Advisory Board from 2006 - 2009 and has been active in NSHMBA since its inception, as one of the founders of two chapters: the first being the Houston NSHMBA Chapter of which he was the President in 1991 and 1992 and the Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter, his home chapter, where he was the Chapter Advisor in 2001. He was the recipient of the 2009 NSHMBA Brillante Award and is the President of the Latino Employee Networks of the Twin Cities, a group that is the bridge to Corporate Latino Networks in Minneapolis.
