About J.R. Lopez
Jose Refugio "J.R." López is an international TQM consultant and is best known to organizations as the creator of Vision WebÒ experience.
Lopez has conducted Vision WebÒ experiences for organizations including Nissan, BIMBO, Nestle, MASECA, Monsanto, Brisas Hotels & Resorts, Cementos Cruz Azul, Calzado Andrea, Citigroup, Daimler-Chrysler, Xerox, Donaldson, Sara Lee, Texas Instruments, Tennessee Associates International; Motorola University; Grupo Industrial Saltillo, PepsiCo, GNP, Cementos del Yaqui, Celanese, General Electric, Bancomer, OTIS Elevators, Purina, Quaker-La Azteca, and Coca Cola, among others.
To date, J.R. Lopez has trained more than 5,000 executives for local and international corporations across the United States, and Mexico, Venezuela, Honduras, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru. He is preparing to launch a Vision WebÒ Tour to Canada, the Middle East, Caribbean, and Asia.
In the past he has served as HR Director of Barba Apparel International Group and at Vitro Corporation for Total Quality Management (TQM), organizational and technological development. Lopez has specialized in "The Seven Management Tools" and is a certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator Assessor. He has addressed numerous national and international conferences, including "The World Future Society Conference 2001" in Minneapolis.
A consultant to political campaigns, corporations, business leaders, professional and trade associations in the United States and Latin America, J:R. Lopez offers proprietary learning tools in Quality theory, earning him the international support of Joel Arthur Barker (recognized as "The Paradigm Man") for Vision WebÒ exercises for leaders and teams.
J.R. Lopez received his Masters Degree in Engineering Systems with a Major in Productivity and Quality as well as Bachelors degree in Business from the Monterrey Institute of Technology. He attended the Program for Quality Management in Tokyo as well as additional TQM programs in the U.S. and Mexico. Lopez is a certified Lead Auditor in ISO-9000 and a member of The Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) of Japan.
What is the Vision WebÒ ?
Vision WebÒ Plus is a high-impact two-part simulation workshop which performs like an organization with three levels of workforce participants: a boss, supervisors, and employees.
Initially, participants use old paradigms where decisions are highly centralized and participants obey the boss without knowing what the organization's Vision is. Participants experience resulting problems such as lack of motivation, lack of communication, poor productivity, poor quality, and high frustration resulting in failure to achieve the Vision.
In the second part, attendees experience a fresh paradigm with a new leadership style, where the boss shares the vision of the future, provides necessary information, and empowers team members.
