    As director for Los Angeles leading radio station Power106’s Knowledge is Power Foundation, Dr. Davidds identifies pertinent issues affecting the Latino community and develops programming to address culturally relevant concerns. A frequent Hispanic media guest, Dr. Yasmin Davidds has been featured on Univision's "Despierta América" and hosts her own Sunday radio show "¡Adelante Mujer!" on Univision - Los Angeles.   

    Raised in East of Los Angeles, Dr. Davidds holds a Business degree from the University of Southern California, a Masters in Women’s Studies, specializing in Latina issues from San Diego State University, attended the University of Cambridge, where she studied gender roles in ethnic groups, and recently earned her doctoral degree.   

    She has and continues to make a significant contribution to the empowerment of women and has been a passionate advocate and spokesperson for ending domestic violence and women's causes.
